CostRuler is an independently operated site based in New York, USA. Questions about this policy go to hello@costruler.com.
What we collect
Nothing you type into a calculator leaves your browser. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no email required to use any tool on this site.
Hosting and analytics
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across sites, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
Messages you send to hello@costruler.com are delivered by Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in Google Gmail. We keep them until you ask us to delete them.
Affiliate links
Some links lead to third-party services (for example, contractor quote services or retailers). If you click one, that site's privacy policy applies. We may earn a commission on referrals; this never affects the cost data or estimates we show you.
Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies. Third-party sites you visit through our links may set their own.
Your rights
We hold no account data about you. To ask what we have (which, at most, is email you sent us), to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, write to hello@costruler.com.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
